Citepa is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the ecological transition. Its mission is to generate and disseminate reliable knowledge on air pollutants and greenhouse gases, support public and private decision-makers, and build countries’ capacity to combat climate change and air pollution.
Through reports, objective assessments, and rigorous recommendations, Citepa contributes to public and private decisions aimed at transitioning toward a sustainable world that integrates air, climate, and energy considerations.
Citepa conducts national inventories of GHG emissions and air pollutants for the Ministry of Ecological Transition.
Actions
Citepa offers technical and methodological support to companies and other private and public organizations on air and climate issues, to help them comply with environmental regulations, assess their impacts and risks, and plan, optimize, implement, and evaluate their ecological transition strategies.
Citepa offers training to public and private sector participants on air and climate regulations and the management of compliance systems. These training programs are designed for operators of industrial facilities, inspectors of classified facilities for environmental protection (ICPE), accredited verifiers, and consulting engineers. Citepa’s trainers draw on their engineering expertise and operational experience to deliver training tailored to the specific needs of participants. The teaching approach is interactive and combines technical expertise with case studies.
