Description

Founded in 2019 at the initiative of the Groupement Cocagne Haute-Garonne, our association carries out community-based and solidarity-driven initiatives—from farm to table—to ensure that EVERYONE has access to high-quality food that is good for their health and good for the planet.

This team carries out several missions that draw on a wealth of complementary skills:

  • Designing and leading nutritious cooking workshops and educational activities focused on sustainable, waste-reducing, and empowering food practices, while fostering a sense of community and social diversity.
These programs are carried out in partnership with a wide variety of organizations: community centers, associations, universities, youth centers (MJC), schools, daycare centers, parent-child centers, medical and social care facilities, local governments, health insurance cooperatives, and businesses…  They combine hands-on cooking sessions, discussions to raise awareness, and tastings. The team also develops educational tools to support these initiatives.
These workshops are offered as part of the solidarity food basket program, as well as to the general public, with the goal of fostering the sharing of experiences and a sense of community among residents of the same area
  • The design and organization of career exploration programs in the fields of agriculture and food (ranging from half a day to five days) for a variety of participants seeking career guidance or a career change. These programs are developed in cooperation with market gardeners, beekeepers, restaurant owners, logistics professionals, and others, and receive support from France Travail, local employment agencies, and organizations that support career transitions.
  • Access to high-quality food products for households in precarious (economic) as well as supplying food aid organizations with organic and locally grown fruits and vegetables, with the goal of making high-quality food accessible to all and contributing to the development of food security.
  •
  • Financial engineering to mobilize public and private funds to co-finance all of our outreach activities, solidarity food baskets, and educational materials; in short, to enable us to operate on a nonprofit basis for the common good.
