Difficulty level :
For the past 10 years, we’ve been organizing “Cafés Bricol’” to help you repair your own appliances during free, participatory meetups open to everyone.
During these sessions, everyone brings their broken items, and we learn how to repair small household appliances (lamps, toasters, irons, blenders, drills, vacuum cleaners, …) using just a few tools and the willingness of volunteers to share basic DIY skills (electrical, electronic, mechanical).
Some organizers also focus on other items such as clothing, bicycles, computers, and phones... But these workshops aren’t “services”: it’s the user who repairs their own device, and sometimes the problem is too complex or the broken part is impossible to find!
The Bricol Café takes place on Saturday mornings in Toulouse, as well as in surrounding towns (St. Orens de Gameville, Balma, Lauzerville, etc.)
