At Plastivore, we transform used plastic into raw materials to create useful, sustainable, and meaningful objects.

Our organization is committed to an eco-friendly and local approach, collecting plastic waste from local partners and organizations. Once sorted and recycled, this plastic is used in our workshop to craft unique products, designed with care and respect for the environment.

Since its founding in 2020, Plastivore has:

OUR WORKSHOPS

Our Expertise
It’s in our workshop in Les Herbiers that we give plastic a second life. A unique artisanal process that combines sorting, shredding, sheet production, machining, and finishing. Convinced that plastic recycling is a key issue for future generations, we carry out numerous projects using our low-tech machinery.

At Plastivore, we recycle PP (polypropylene) and PE (polyethylene)

Our Machines

• The Shredder:
  The shredder reduces cut-up plastic pieces into small shavings, making them easier to recycle or reuse.
•  The extruder:
  Using the extruder, the recycled plastic shavings are melted and then transformed into solid rods, ready to be reused to create new, durable, and large-scale objects.
• The sheet press:
  It is used to create large sheets of plastic—plain or colored—which are then cut into various flat objects.
•  The injection molding machine:
  The injection molding machine melts a small amount of plastic and then injects it into a mold to create small objects in various shapes.
