The organization is based at “Le Bocal,” a third place in Anduze that it runs and manages. It features a community café and shared repair workshops
The Obsolescence Déprogrammée association promotes the reduction of electronic waste through reuse, recycling, and awareness-raising. Specifically, the association offers a pay-what-you-can repair service for electrical appliances provided by volunteers, a shared repair workshop where members can learn by doing, and the sale of refurbished secondhand electrical items. The association also organizes Repair Cafés at other venues and within the “third place.”
Come by to bring an electrical appliance for repair at a pay-what-you-can price, learn how to repair items, and enjoy the shared repair workshop—and grab a drink at the community café!

Its goal is to help build a network of social connections in the town and surrounding areas by making cultural, artistic, and material resources accessible to everyone and by supporting local initiatives that foster enthusiasm, good cheer, and joy, based on solidarity, sharing, and openness to the world.
Ongoing activity: the resource center—a free space (open shop) in the town center, for everyone. People drop off items they no longer need (in good condition and clean) and take what they can use—books, games, toys, dishes, clean clothing, and new or nearly new shoes ONLY—
The premises, provided free of charge to the association by the municipality, are regularly maintained by the association’s volunteers.
The space is open on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
