La Mine de Ressources aims to offer eco-friendly activities and bring together, in a single location, various aspects of the actions needed to support an ecological and socially responsible transition

OUR INITIATIVES: Reuse center, secondhand goods, events, workshops, community café...

The project is a multi-activity community space designed to connect the various aspects of our daily lives that impact the environment. This term should be understood in the broadest sense: for example, our “environment” encompasses both the protection of nature and the lives of the people around us. Can we truly eat healthy, locally sourced food if we don’t have suitable producers in our immediate vicinity?

The main activities we hope to bring together in this space will therefore be:

• - a resource center (resale of used consumer products destined to be treated as waste)
• - a recycling center (reuse of materials)
• - technical workshops (textiles, wood, metal, cosmetics, and household products)
• - a community cafeteria
• - distribution of “bulk” food (without packaging)
• - a media library / game library
• - a clothing library (clothing loans)
• - a multimedia and computer center
• - shared workspaces for individuals, micro-entrepreneurs, and community organizations,
• - the organization of community and cultural events, a local farmers’ market, and a permaculture garden.
