A place to live, not a hotel

You’ll stay in a working historic farmhouse, at the heart of a permaculture eco-community. The accommodations are well-kept, cozy, and self-contained—3 km from the village of Brullioles and 5 km from Saint-Laurent-de-Chamousset, in the Monts du Lyonnais, an hour from Lyon, Saint-Étienne, and Roanne. The setting is peaceful, nature is all around, and the welcome is personalized.

- A dormitory: A self-contained unit with a separate entrance, featuring a dormitory and a double bedroom. Ideal for groups

- A cottage: A self-contained cottage with a private terrace, ideal for a stay with family, friends, or for a seminar group seeking a private space.

- A table d’hôtes: Each dish is prepared with vegetables, herbs, and spices from the garden, and seasonal produce from local farmers.

- Seminar room: 'Oasis' features a fully equipped 120 m² seminar and meeting room that can be configured to suit your needs. It can accommodate up to 60 people for a conference or about 30 for a participatory workshop.

The Institut de l'Oasis de Chamousset is a non-profit organization established in conjunction with the eco-village to develop and promote projects in nature education, environmental awareness, pedagogy, research, and cultural promotion.
