We are residents of the Emerald Coast committed to TAKING CONCRETE ACTION LOCALLY to support the energy transition.

OUR ACTIONS

-Bringing citizens together for energy transition initiatives on the Emerald Coast and within the future Rance-Emerald Regional Park

– Raise awareness and inform citizens in collaboration with all relevant institutional stakeholders,

– Provide practical support to anyone wishing to save energy and/or generate it,

– Launching collective renewable energy production projects through the Rance Émeraude Village Power Plants, a citizen-owned cooperative founded by our association.

The association was founded on June 13, 2020, by 12 founding members. It currently has about forty members.

An AMEP for a solidarity-based electricity donation

Residents donate the surplus electricity generated by their rooftop solar panels to people eligible for the energy voucher. This is the principle behind AMEPs (Association for the Pooling of Local Energy), a sort of “AMAP for energy” aimed at producing and consuming locally. In France, 34 have been established or are in the planning stages.
