L'écoclicot is a community organization based in Saint-Genois. Its goal is to raise awareness about environmental issues and sustainable alternatives through community-driven, cultural, solidarity-based, non-violent, and friendly initiatives.

Founded on October 14, 2009, by a group of about ten residents of Saint-Genois, L'écoclicot has approximately one hundred members, including about thirty active members and more than 650 supporters.
Gender parity is strongly encouraged.
L'écoclicot is strictly independent of any organization or political party and receives no direct subsidies.

Its philosophy is similar to that of

Colibris (P. Rabhi’s movement for the Earth and Humanism),
and the Transition Towns and Territories Movement.
