Description

We are a collective dedicated to urban agriculture that combines farming with community outreach within the Lyon metropolitan area.

Through these activities, we aim to
:– give urban
natural spaces a food-producing value– ensure the continued agricultural use of plots subject to abandonment and neglect–
raise awareness of agro-environmental issues among an urban public often disconnected from these realities

On a daily basis, we practice pastoral management on fenced-in plots, allowing us to feed the animals on grass while providing an ecological and food-producing land maintenance service.

In parallel with this, our model involves practicing transhumance: we move our sheep on foot through the city’s natural spaces (parks, vacant lots, building grounds, etc.) via sidewalks and crosswalks. The passage of the flock through the city creates a warm atmosphere conducive to raising awareness and fostering social connections.

All of these activities allow us to develop plant and animal agricultural products (pestos, chutneys, meats, charcuterie, herbal teas, wool crafts).
