Biodiversity in Elementary School

 The La main à la pâte Foundation provides teachers with classroom and training resources, as well as a variety of tools to help them carry out science and technology activities and projects in elementary and middle schools.

"A l'école de la biodiversité" is a thematic project designed to raise awareness among teachers, children, and parents about 21st-century challenges related to biodiversity, its exploration, and its preservation.  A multidisciplinary project (science, geography, mathematics, French, civics, ICT, etc.), "A School of Biodiversity" emphasizes student engagement through inquiry, research, experimentation, modeling, and discussion.  Throughout the project, they will become aware of a new way of thinking and acting in daily life, in which humans are positioned as a link in ecosystems and as citizens of nature.
