Envol Vert is a nonprofit organization dedicated to forest conservation and rural development. Since 2011, we have been working to preserve forests and biodiversity in Latin America (primarily Colombia and Peru) and in France, while building strong ties with local communities to support their conservation efforts, contribute to sustainable rural development, and develop economic alternatives to deforestation. Envol Vert is also deeply committed to raising awareness through educational and advocacy campaigns.
Envol Vert was founded with the aim of sustainably reconnecting humanity with its environment. With the aim of raising awareness of the richness of this forest and what it offers us—without which we would not exist.
Envol Vert, or in other words, in Spanish (Envolver), means to get involved. This is what we believe is essential given the scale of the task ahead for environmental preservation.
Envol Vert is made up almost exclusively of volunteers, with the aim of dedicating its budget to local initiatives and contributing to the emergence of a new form of civic engagement.
