Le Vieux Biclou is a nonprofit organization under the French Law of 1901 whose mission is to promote cycling through:

Bicycle maintenance and DIY repairs	Recycling and reuse	Learning to ride a bike as an adult
Becoming self-sufficient in maintaining and repairing your bike	Collecting bikes, reassembling or disassembling them!	Learning, relearning, and regaining confidence to ride in the city

The spirit of Vieux Biclou is participatory, friendly, and emphasizes mutual support among its members. Members are expected to treat one another with mutual respect and kindness!

Vieux Biclou’s activities

self-repair workshops (tools and parts available to members)
Themed workshops: reassembly, disassembly, beginners, mechanics (mixed groups by choice)
mobile workshops
introductory sessions to bicycle mechanics
Bicycode marking
collection of bicycles from individuals or condominiums for refurbishment or parts recovery
sale of used bicycles
bike swap
assistance with bicycle repairs (funded by the metropolitan area)
Bicycle school for adults
events and services for businesses and local communities
