OUR MAIN OBJECTIVES
In the late 1980s, Apaba was founded primarily by consumers, along with a few producers, with the following main objectives:
· To raise awareness of organic farming and organic producers;
· To represent and advocate for organic producers;
· To bring together organic producers to gain leverage against larger commercial players.
Today, the increase in land area dedicated to organic farming and the re-territorialization of the Aveyron organic economy are driving the association to adapt in order to meet the needs of producers and respond to societal expectations. APABA is committed to upholding a rigorous approach to organic farming, guided by the ethics of sustainable development that respects both people and the environment.
