We are expanding our range of services for families in the Albi metropolitan area to include the town of Puygouzon.
It shares the goals of the other stores already in operation (Rivière and Gaillac) and supports the social work of the mobile thrift store.
Under the same name, “Au bonheur des Fripes,” this new space benefits from high visibility and accessibility for the public, with a private parking lot shared with other businesses.
This store has been designed and organized to meet the needs of families in Puygouzon and the surrounding area.
A children’s area is available, featuring a play area, books, and dedicated baby, girls’, and boys’ sections, allowing families to enjoy a pleasant time together. The public is invited to share a relaxing moment and chat over a cup of coffee.
Information is also provided to families about local partners, existing services, and local news through brochures, flyers, posters, or directly from the federation’s office, which is located in the same building. This information is shared by the volunteers and coordinators who are regularly on site.
The coordinator also oversees the shop’s operations in collaboration with a designated volunteer responsible for managing the team’s schedules, which we hope will grow over time.
With this opening in Puygouzon, our aim is to revitalize this area and make this space a hub for connecting with partners in order to develop new initiatives.
