Public transportation service for residents of municipalities in the Haut-Limousin region

Mobilité Solidaire Rurale (MSoR) is a non-profit association under the French law of 1901, based in Bellac, in the Haute-Vienne department (87).

Mission: Social transportation service for residents of the municipalities of Haut-Limousin-en-Marche and Gartempe Saint-Pardoux.

Objective: To facilitate travel for isolated individuals or those without access to transportation, thereby strengthening social ties in the region

The association aims to:

1. provide people living in rural areas with an on-demand mobility service at a reduced rate, relying on the availability of volunteer drivers
2. develop, within this transportation service, conditions that foster social connections among people
3. enable people in financial need to benefit from the service for a small fee
4. Establish democratic governance of the association.

The association offers: 

• An on-demand transportation service
• For all individuals who have difficulty getting around
• Based on an organized network of volunteers
• In addition to existing services

How to book?

■ Register with the reception desk at 06 33 65 17 47, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., or send us an email at contact@msor.fr

■ Book your transportation by phone at 06 33 65 17 47, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., no later than 2 business days before your scheduled trip.

■ If you use a wheelchair, please specify this when making your reservation so that an accessible vehicle can be provided

■ The vehicle will pick you up at your home and provide the transportation you have booked. This service operates Monday through Sunday, including holidays, subject to the availability of volunteer drivers. (50 drivers use their personal vehicles to provide transportation)

■ Each trip is paid for as a contribution toward expenses: €0.30 per kilometer traveled
