Solidarity Transport

Pannecé Teillé Solidarity Transport was founded in 2009.  It consists of volunteers who make their time and personal vehicles available to people who cannot use professional transportation services (taxis, Lilas ambulances, etc.) for financial, health, or work-related reasons.

The municipalities

The municipalities affiliated with the association are Mésanger, Riaillé, Pouillé-Les-Coteaux, La Roche-Blanche, Joué-sur-Erdre, and Trans-sur-Erdre

Our missions:

- Personal assistance, support for remaining at home, and integration into the community. Positioning the service as a complement to official services (families, on-demand public transportation, and other mobility providers).

- Supporting people who lack the means to get around and manage their daily errands.

- Offer a service to all generations.

- For medical purposes, we provide assistance only for trips not covered by health insurance (see outpatient transportation)

Eligibility requirements:

As mentioned above, this service is complementary to public transportation. The beneficiary must contact the coordinator at least 48 hours, or even 4 or 5 days, before the trip, in order to facilitate the coordinator’s work.

Miles are calculated from the driver’s home.

The beneficiary signs the trip sheet and pays the driver.

The service is available every day of the week (except Sundays). This is subject to driver availability.

The volunteer driver picks you up at your home at the agreed-upon time. The user reimburses the driver for travel expenses at €0.35 per km

The association has taken out comprehensive auto fleet insurance and liability insurance. These policies cover the driver, their vehicle, and the passengers being transported during the trip
