Popote & Papote is a community-driven initiative launched in 2023 by the association of municipalities, the town of Saint-Thurial, and the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) cluster.
This project is now led by a collective of residents of Saint-Thurial, alongside two founding co-leaders, Aï Houa & Orlane.
Our goal: to create a warm, lively, and accessible space where people can come together, share simple moments, and build connections. At Popote & Papote, we chat, we share, we cook, and we create together
It’s a space where workshops (cooking, wellness, creative), events, and informal get-togethers come to life.
A place that reflects what brings us together: friendliness, simplicity, and the joy of being together.
OUR INITIATIVES:
- The restaurant: Our head chef, Aï Houa, serves homemade dishes prepared with fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients.
Here, we prioritize plant-based dishes, support local farmers, and above all, Aï Houa takes you on a culinary journey every day, depending on what’s in the basket.
We’re open year-round from Tuesday to Friday, 12 PM to 2 PM
- Space Rental: Popote & Papote is a shared space for professionals in Saint-Thurial, where we gather to reconnect
- Event catering: Whether you’re organizing a family gathering, a professional event, or a get-together with friends, we offer: Buffets, cocktail receptions, breakfasts, or sweet treats…
- The shop: a unique space dedicated to local products and artisans from the region. Teas, jewelry, confectionery, sewing, groceries, soaps, and delicacies await you, showcasing the artisanal and authentic craftsmanship of your region.
