Description

OUR GOALS:

  • To be a welcoming and engaging space for local families
  • To encourage participation in social and community life...
  • To be a leader in community education...
  • To make La Tribu’s activities visible and accessible to everyone

OUR ACTIVITIES:

  • Performances, movies, and theater: La Tribu offers a cultural program—previously unavailable—in the heart of villages, in spaces chosen by the residents.
  • La Tribu Outings facilitates participation in cultural events within or outside the region through a special partnership with the organizer and transportation services.
  • La Tribu’s festival: Once a year, La Tribu organizes a major event that brings together local artistic and cultural actors to connect practices and foster diversity.
  • The Residents’ Café: The Residents’ Café is a space open to everyone, designed for sharing a friendly moment with the goal of exchanging ideas, discovering new things, and broadening horizons. It takes place in different locations depending on the conferences and projects being held.
  • The Parents’ Café: The Parents’ Café stems from parents’ desire to create a welcoming, friendly space for gathering and sharing, with the goal of breaking out of isolation by meeting people going through similar experiences.
  • The Seniors’ Café: Need a place to get together, chat, play cards, or other games? Or just enjoy a cup of tea, coffee, and some cake? Whether you’re retired or not, if you’re 60 or older, you’re all welcome! The Seniors’ Café is open every other Tuesday starting at 3 p.m.—a time for sharing and chatting…
  • Transportation Assistance: La Tribu aims to provide transportation options (private cars, shared vehicles) to help people get around the area.
  • Housing Solidarity: La Tribu helps share listings and connect people seeking temporary housing for a specific project (internship, job, etc.) with residents interested in experiencing shared living.
