Promoting and preserving the environment and biodiversity through ecological expertise

Founded in August 2007 by students, teachers, researchers, and concerned citizens, the E4 association—Ecological Expertise, Environmental Education—brings together people committed to preserving local biodiversity.

Our objectives

  Biodiversity, which contributes to the balance of our planet, has been the unifying factor among the members of the E4 association.

The objectives of the E4 association are: “the promotion and preservation of the environment and biodiversity through ecological expertise, awareness-raising, education, research, and management.”

Our activities

  The E4 Association is headquartered in Marseille, and our work is carried out in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (PACA) region.

  To achieve our objectives, we implement several projects focused on environmental awareness and education, as well as on conducting ecological assessments.

  Our actions are aimed both at preserving local ecosystems and promoting our region’s natural heritage.

The E4 Association’s Projects

To achieve its objectives of protecting, raising awareness about, and promoting biodiversity, the E4 Association implements various projects centered on three main areas:

• Raising environmental awareness: The E4 Association organizes several nature outings throughout the year on various themes related to the environment and local biodiversity.
• Promoting biodiversity through ecological assessments
• Environmental education: Promoting and protecting biodiversity also involves raising awareness among young people. To this end, the E4 association offers educational activities for children in preschool and elementary school, as well as middle school students
