Les Tabliers Solidaires, a 100% women-run, community-focused, and eco-friendly kitchen in Toulouse.
The goal of the Les Tabliers Solidaires association is to create a community-focused kitchen that employs women seeking professional reintegration. Many of them have culinary talents, and this is a great starting point for re-entering the workforce. We cook with local and organic ingredients whenever possible and sell our dishes to businesses as shared meals and to individuals who want them delivered to their workplace. We also follow a zero-waste approach: for business deliveries, we use our returnable metal dishes and tableware, and for individuals, we partner with "En Boite Le Plat," which shares a pool of returnable glass containers.
Our goals:
· To offer women who are far from the job market the opportunity to put their culinary skills to use and leverage those skills to transition into a job they enjoy
· Support them in defining and achieving a career path that aligns with their interests and circumstances
· Support local farmers by purchasing their products
· Give as many people as possible the opportunity to consume in a socially responsible and sustainable way
· Offer homemade meals to anyone who cannot afford to buy or prepare them
