AGORAé Paris, created by and for students in the Paris school district, managed by AGEP
Our Mission
AGORAé is a social grocery store for the most vulnerable students—not just those receiving financial aid—that allows them to receive food assistance while maintaining their independence in their purchases.
AGORAé is also a space for exchange and solidarity, comprising a community hub open to everyone and a solidarity grocery store accessible based on social criteria. Run and managed by students for students, AGORAé is a non-stigmatizing space working toward real equality of access and success in higher education.
Our Ambition
To rebuild social connections, combat isolation and precariousness, and raise awareness among the student population about health issues, provide information, and organize cultural and sports activities all in one place, accessible to all students in Paris, regardless of their social status or where they study.
The AGORAé project is not a welfare initiative but rather one of exchange and solidarity, entirely managed by and for students.
Regular Activities
The community space is open to all students Monday through Friday, and on certain weekends if events are scheduled (follow our AGORAé Paris Facebook page to stay informed).
Many events are offered (workshops, outings, parties, sports activities, etc.), as well as community breakfasts, and more. This center is also a welcoming place to have lunch, work, relax, read, stay informed, chat, meet others, and more. A community library is also available.
