Promote ecological, social, and democratic transition and work to build the region’s resilience

Our association was founded in February 2021 with the goal of promoting ecological, social, and democratic transition and working to build the region’s resilience through joyful and united action.

Our regular activities

• A community and educational garden. Its purpose is to serve as a hub for various friendly and fun activities to raise awareness among people of all ages about the joy and necessity of caring for the Earth and all living things, and to develop together the skills and practical means to do so.
• Climate workshops to better understand the causes and consequences of climate change, and the extent to which our daily actions contribute to greenhouse gas emissions, so we can make more informed choices to reduce our carbon footprint.
• The Jardinodrome Happy Hours: friendly get-togethers held in the summer, from late June to late August, at the Jardinodrome. A chance to explore this garden, tend to it, and put the world to rights over a shared aperitif!

Our one-off events

• The Fête des Possibles in L’Isle Jourdain is an event to showcase local initiatives, get to know one another better, and have a chance to discuss the transition.
• The market stalls are an opportunity to meet new people who may not yet be familiar with our association. We currently set up two stalls per year.

Projects

• A dedicated space for the transition in L’Isle Jourdain. This is a project we’ve been working on since late 2020, and we hope to see it move to the “In Progress” section very soon!
• Informal learning sessions, to learn from one another, centered on a specific theme, featuring an expert on the subject or watching a film to spark discussions…
