Description

Pont et Pignons brings together residents of Pont-Ramberto who cycle every day and share a common dream: that people of all ages can get around our community with complete peace of mind. Convinced that cycling is a solution to economic, social, environmental, and public health challenges, the association’s mission was clear: to promote cycling as a daily mode of transportation in Saint Just-Saint Rambert and the Loire Forez metropolitan area. So that everyone can enjoy the freedom and benefits that cycling brings to their personal, professional, and family lives.

The Workshop: Bring your bike to one of our team’s mechanics for a tune-up or repair. Our recycling center maintains a large stock of spare parts, allowing us to repair any type of bike at a lower cost. The association also stocks new parts: cables, housings, cassettes, derailleurs, dropper seatposts, and more.

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 9 AM–12 PM and 1 PM–5 PM

Self-Repair: The association hosts self-repair drop-in sessions twice a week (Wednesday: 5:00 PM–7:00 PM; Thursday: 5:00 PM–7:00 PM) at its facility in Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert to help users maintain and repair their bikes.

Bike School: Pont et Pignons helps children learn how to ride a bike and practice safe cycling habits. This program is for children ages 6 to 11, from beginners to those with some experience.

Back in the Saddle: Pont et Pignons runs “Back in the Saddle” workshops, particularly for adults who haven’t ridden a bike in a long time and would like to regain their confidence.

Project: We are convinced that cycling can be a solution to partially address the mobility challenges faced by people with limited access to transportation: those in precarious situations, those in vocational training, job seekers, people with disabilities, seniors, and others.
