Our organization, our mission
Prenons racine is a non-profit organization established under the French Law of 1901, founded in Reyrieux (Ain).
Agroforestry is the combination of trees with crops or livestock on the same plot of land. This ancient practice is now being promoted because it allows for better use of resources and greater biological diversity
Its goal is to promote and facilitate the planting of trees and hedges. The association aims to inform and raise awareness among all types of stakeholders (farmers, businesses, local governments, school groups, and individuals), and to support planting projects (connecting stakeholders, assisting with grant applications, project management, and coordinating volunteer planters).
The association also participates in the Reyrieux Flora project, which involves cataloging and raising awareness of the wild flora in our region. Botanical field trips open to everyone are regularly organized by a botanist; if you’d like to join, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
