Description

The Caval’Arbor-et-Sens project was born out of a collaborative effort by three individuals passionate about education and ecology, who are committed to teaching respect and care for the resources our earth provides in a way that closely reflects environmental reality.

It addresses the current and urgent need to raise awareness of eco-responsibility; the need to promote renewable resources and encourage their use; to foster respect and care for the living world; and to foster independence through observation, experimentation, and analysis. It allows Nature to be integrated into the child’s development and learning process.

It unfolds into a four-branch framework:

  • Environmental education: learning to recognize and understand environmental issues.
  • Education through animal-assisted therapy, specifically with horses. The goal is to learn to build a respectful and harmonious relationship with the living world.
  •       Presentation of eco-friendly educational tools for professionals in teaching, education, and youth programs.
  • An experimental space for self-sufficient living, open to research projects. A place of respite. A space for activities made available to professionals in education, social services, and well-being

The Caval'Arbor-et-Sens association invites you to join the extraordinary adventure of creating an eco-resource center. You will discover all the richness and wisdom of the ecosystems we aim to develop: the pond with water purification by aquatic plants, its inhabitants—the frogs and mosquito-eating carp!; the hedges and all the teeming life they host!; the vegetable garden that thrives on plant and mineral compost and nourishes us with its healthy fruits and vegetables!; the self-sufficient, lightweight, and reversible dwelling that allows us to live without destroying our environment! the various natural ways to preserve our vegetables: solar oven, vegetable dryer, and natural refrigerators. Ecosystems teach us to live as collaborators rather than consumers. To learn to live differently and live better, nature is our teacher!
