Our organization is located in Châtillon-la-Palud in the Ain department, at the confluence of the Albarine and the Ain River
We work to inform and raise awareness among citizens of all ages about the fragility of our environment, encourage everyone to reflect on the environmental impact of our individual and collective behaviors, take concrete action for the environment, and promote community living.
OUR INITIATIVES:
REPAIR CAFE: In partnership with the Mosaïque community center in Chalamont, we’ve launched a Repair Café! Come save some items! If you have some skills, come help us! If you have broken or malfunctioning items, let’s try to fix them together!
Every second Saturday of the month in Chalamont.
O’TOUR DE L’EAU: We’re hosting a festive and friendly day celebrating water in all its forms, featuring films, exhibitions, educational activities, workshops, booths, walks along ponds and rivers, and talks…
A major public awareness day focused on the theme of water “in all its forms” and the various issues related to water, featuring booths, lectures, and activities.
We decided to create this event in 2022, following a summer during which France experienced unprecedented droughts and wildfires: municipalities in the Ain region declared a state of natural disaster due to drought and wildfires, the Dombes ponds running dry… We wanted to take action at our own level and help protect this unique resource, which is essential to life on Earth.

Walks, encounters, discoveries... and if we come across trash, we pick it up!
TOOL LIBRARY: You need a tool. Buying that tool just to let it sit in the garage isn’t exactly the best idea!
Maybe the collective has it!
Or maybe another member has that tool—they could lend it to you and give you some extra tips too!
The collective offers two options
Loaning of equipment purchased by the collective
: We’ve acquired a trailer (standard driver’s license required; you’ll need a license plate matching your vehicle) and a good garden shredder (electric, semi-professional, capable of shredding up to 40 mm in diameter)
Equipment loans between members:
We offer to connect residents who are members of the collective and wish to borrow or lend various tools (DIY, home, gardening, etc.)
