Promote active transportation (cycling and walking)

The Association of Pedestrians and Cyclists of the Pays de Gex and Terre Valserhône, known as APICY, is dedicated to promoting active mobility.

Initiatives aimed at promoting and ensuring the safety of active mobility:

• organizing traditional or new activities
• addressing issues arising from the region’s unique characteristics
• meeting with local authorities (city hall, county) to promote direct, continuous, and safe bike paths
• answering questions from members or elected officials
•          proposing concrete actions regarding road realignment projects, lighting, safe crossings, bike racks, etc.
