Description

The Saint Sor'Liens Association carries out projects in the areas of community exchange and solidarity (Local Exchange System, knowledge-sharing workshops, etc.) and biodiversity (lectures, nature outings, etc.), and is creating a community garden in the heart of the village of Saint-Sorlin-en-Bugey.

Founded in the summer of 2021, our association currently has 82 members (including 20 children) who are taking local action to address environmental and climate issues.

In the face of climate and environmental emergencies, our Association aims to:

  • Build connections among the residents of Saint-Sorlin-en-Bugey and the surrounding area,
  • To frame its actions within an ecological transition approach that is more respectful of life and the environment.
  •

Our Values

  • Respect, protect, and raise awareness about the preservation of all living beings and natural resources
  • Promote, through our actions and words, the values of hospitality, listening, kindness, solidarity, secularism, and the sharing of knowledge
  • Foster cooperation and collective decision-making
  • Acting as a responsible individual

There are currently 3 thematic groups:
