Description

Campus Comestible works to create and manage community gardens open to everyone on the University of Burgundy campus. Its goal is to raise awareness among campus users about environmental conservation, biodiversity, and the values of sharing and solidarity.

 

Who are we?

We are Campus Comestible, a student-led, socially responsible, and eco-conscious organization dedicated to creating, organizing, and managing community gardens open to everyone (citizens and campus users) on the University of Dijon campus through the establishment of an educational trail focused on environmental education and sustainable development. 

 

Missions

  • Create, facilitate, and manage Shared Gardens on campus
  • Management and facilitation of educational vegetable garden plots
  • Environmental and sustainable development education
  • Artistic and cultural events centered around the gardens

 

Goals

  • Raising awareness of eco-friendly practices and environmental conservation
  • To foster the development of a network of knowledge and exchange
  • Foster the development of a social and supportive community
  • To provide access to healthy food for those who cannot afford it
