Description

Etu’Récup is a non-profit association established in 2014 under the French Law of 1901. Located on the Bordeaux–Pessac–Talence–Gradignan University Campus, its mission is to reduce waste and combat financial insecurity, while promoting sustainable consumption practices and supporting the shift toward eco-friendly transportation.

To this end, the association operates two initiatives available to its members:

Ressourcerie du Campus, which aims to give a second life to items in good condition (furniture, appliances, clothing, etc.) that are no longer needed by their owners. Etu’Récup collects donations from individuals and businesses, which are then resold at low prices to our members, with a focus on solidarity-based reuse.

La Maison du Vélo aims to promote cycling and alternative modes of transportation to the general public, as well as to local institutions and businesses, and to facilitate access to this mode of daily travel. It operates at three locations: on the Campus, in Pessac, and in Gradignan.

Participatory workshops:
The woodworking workshop, every second Saturday of the month (2:00 PM to 6:00 PM)—open workshop: to work on your own project using the workshop’s tools and materials—or every fourth Wednesday: themed workshop (2:00 PM to 6:00 PM). PLEASE NOTE: limited spots available; registration required

The sewing workshop, every first Tuesday and third Thursday of the month (5:00 PM to 8:00 PM)—open workshop: to help members repair clothing, hem or alter garments, or work on a personal sewing project…

The electronics and IT workshop, every second Thursday (4:00 PM to 7:00 PM) and the fourth Saturday of the month (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM): to repair small appliances, troubleshoot a problem with your computer…
