Normandy Wood Energy Initiative Program
In response to these significant challenges, the Normandy Region, ADEME, and industry stakeholders have implemented, through a 2024–2026 initiative program, a shared strategy aimed at:
OBDEC: The Normandy Observatory for Waste, Resources, and the Circular Economy was established in 2004 at the initiative of Biomasse Normandie to monitor waste management across the region.
Its mission: To pool knowledge on waste management and recovery to enable stakeholders in the waste sector to guide development strategies—whether public or private—toward the circular economy: regional data, maps, regulatory, technical, economic, and environmental developments, educational fact sheets, and newsletters.
