Bio en Normandie supports a coherent, sustainable, and inclusive organic development project to address the food, environmental, social, and economic challenges facing our regions.
Working to promote the agricultural and food transition, Bio en Normandie represents producers’ interests before local institutions, as well as at the national level as a member of the National Federation of Organic Agriculture
Our Actions
From project conception to implementation and in line with its values, BeN is on the ground, supporting producers, processors, and local communities to ensure the development and sustainability of locally sourced organic food
Welcoming and informing future organic producers
Advising and assisting with the transition to organic farming
Providing training in organic farming methods and their promotion
Assisting with farm establishment and succession
Supporting projects by producers and communities
Creating supply chains for short-distance distribution, school cafeterias, and institutional food service
Organize events that bring producers and consumers together
Establishing partnerships with local stakeholders who are innovating to achieve the same goals
