A nonprofit organization established under the 1901 law to manage the site, foster community connections, and practice permaculture
Objectives:
- Raise awareness among all audiences about the environment and eco-citizenship
- revitalize the local area and foster social connections
- to promote the exchange and transfer of knowledge
- to encourage all types of experiments that align with the values of permaculture
Actions:
- Site development, preserving and enhancing biodiversity;
- Hosting groups or individuals in difficult circumstances;
- Disseminating educational content on permaculture;
- Organizing and facilitating participatory workshops, community projects, artist residencies, training sessions, festive events...
To carry out our activities, we have three independent cottages on 20 hectares of fields and forests.
Our Activities
- - Twice a year, at Easter and All Saints’ Day, the Villards organize a week-long work camp open to anyone who wishes to participate. Maintenance and development of the vegetable garden, eco-construction, work on springs, recycling pallets into furniture, harvesting wild plants, etc.
- - Since 2015, the site has been registered as a sanctuary with the League for the Protection of Animals (LPO) and is recognized for its rich biodiversity, which must be preserved. The site is home to rare species
