OUR ACTIONS
Free online training for the recyclers of tomorrow
90% of ocean plastic pollution comes from 20 to 30 countries in Asia, Africa, and South America because they lack industrial waste management systems.
The Recycling Academy program is part of the project’s “Clean Up The Past” strategy and aims to train local entrepreneurs in the basics of plastic waste recycling.
An incubation program aboard the ship for recycling entrepreneurs
At each stop along the expedition, the Plastic Odyssey welcomes several local recycling entrepreneurs on board to develop concrete and effective solutions to combat plastic pollution.
A network of micro-recycling plants to recover plastic waste
Since 1950, only 9% of the plastic produced has been recycled. Ocean plastic pollution stems from poorly managed waste on land and becomes irreversible once it reaches the sea.
In addition to a turnkey plant, we provide financing solutions, as well as technical and commercial support, to ensure that entrepreneurs succeed and have a lasting positive impact on their communities and the environment.
Recycled plastics can be transformed into profiles, molded objects, and more…
