Thanks to the support of our donors and the passion of our volunteers, Sea Shepherd France carries out several large-scale national campaigns, both at sea and on land, while engaging in legal actions to enforce environmental protection laws.

Our fight for the wildlife of Brittany

Sea Shepherd Rescue Center is Sea Shepherd’s first wildlife care center in the world. Located in Brittany, Sea Shepherd Rescue has been taking in and caring for injured or weakened marine and terrestrial wildlife since 2023, with the goal of returning them to the wild

Our fight for the sea turtles of Mayotte

In Mayotte, sea turtles—despite being classified as a protected species—are victims of massive, organized poaching. Since 2017, Sea Shepherd France has been conducting night patrols alongside local volunteers to deter poachers and allow the turtles to come ashore to lay their eggs safely on the beaches.
