The goal of this initiative is to raise awareness about, study, and celebrate insects—these tiny creatures that are essential to the balance of our ecosystems, yet often overlooked.
Nature Walk: During a leisurely stroll, we’ll take the time to observe and search for the small creatures that inhabit these sunny hillsides: butterflies, beetles, wild bees, and many other species that are discreet yet essential to the functioning of ecosystems.
Open to everyone, this walk focuses on observation, discussion, and discovery, in a friendly atmosphere and at a pace suited to everyone.
To further our observations, three specimens belonging to three different species—which could not be identified directly in the field—were collected. They will be the subject of a future identification workshop, using binocular magnifiers and identification guides, thereby helping to complete the site’s inventory.
